This look features Report Signature brown Over the knee boots
Black and Brown, this was a look that confounded me for years. I couldn’t stand putting black and brown together the same way I couldn’t pair either of those colors with Navy. EEEEk. To me as a kid it was a fashion faux pas, which I learned as I got older, was one of many fashion misunderstandings keeping me from great things. So here is a little look inspired by mashing up these two trouble makers brown and black. The chocolate brown OTK boots over the black David Lerner leggings make for a very leggy look, and the long tunic top keeps the more modest girls feeling covered up, its loose feeling adds to the comfort and coziness of this outfit while still being sleek and sexy.

This is a real girl next door look featuring the Report Signature OTK high heel boot , layered enough and perfect with a cozy sweater or leather jacket or worn as is. Its a fun spin on jeans and a t-shirt which is another viable option with these boots. I just find this a little more unique and feminine with the denim mini skirt, pattered tights, and open shoulder detail on the long sleeve blouse.

The first shoot for this blog happened on a rainy day in Los Angeles. As the high heel look of the day I chose these dark brown over the knee boots. They go great with everything from jeans, leggings or khakis, to skirts or dresses. They can be worn day or night, dressed up or casually sophisticated.
